Many Graphic Editors, Bloggers, Authors etc. some ever need their active desktop screen shot for many purposes. Taking a active window desktop screen shot is not a big deal. Its very easy. Just follow the steps below to capture a screen shot of your active windows desktop.
How?
- Press the Print Screen or PrtScn button on your keyboard.
- Open any image editing program like Microsoft windows built-in Pain program.
- Go to Edit drop down menu and click on Paste.
If you want to crop the useless part of screen shot then use image editor crop tools. - Go to File drop down menu and click on "Save as" or press CTRL + S, a pop-up window will appear, give the destination to file, select the output file type (GIF is better), type a file name.
- Click the Save button.
